  • Bead Lake, Washington is a relatively large lake in a mountainous setting of well timbered hills roughly 8 miles north of Newport in the Kaniksu National Forest. The water is very clear, and the west side of the lake is predominately residential. Often used for fishing, hiking, canoeing, and boating; the boat launch here can accomodate up to six boats and trailers.
