  Situated on Highway 41 south of Blanchard, Spirit Lake is a small community built next to the 4.5 mile-long Spirit Lake. Located just 30 miles north of Coeur d'Alene, it is home to stunning views and beautiful forest destinations. Spirit Lake is a warm and friendly thriving community. Businesses in town are family and locally owned. The lake itself is 4½ miles long and is over a mile wide at the widest point, with 12 miles of shore. The lake is also reputed to be one of the only lakes in the world with a sealed bottom. The Spirit Lake area - near to several other towns, such as Athol, Cocolalla, Rathdrum, Twin Lakes, and Hayden, all locales serviced by The Tree Service - is a heavily wooded area, with many varieties of trees, from tall pines to leafy aspens.
